Joanne Walker - To Cheryl's dear family....I feel that I know several of you, as she and I had been friends for a long while, and she shared special occasions that the family was having, or prayer requests for illness or stressful times...She was at GLC (Fountainview Place at that time) for a long while, and yes, she counseled me regarding some of my house plants that I was trying to grow, but I never caught her knack of coaxing them to grow...I believe she talked to them as friends...Then she left and went to live in Henry County, and possibly other facilities for a while..I caught up with her at Muncie Health Care, and stopped once to visit with her there...When she returned to GLC I rejoiced as our friendship would grow to new heights....In her last year or so, she was unable to convey her thoughts at times, but she never forgot the sound of my name..I always planted a kiss soundly on her forehead when she was sitting in the hallway or near the nurses' station..We would generally pray together for her health...I loved her dearly, and will miss her until I see her in glory where she will be with her loving parents and her Jesus..We talked at length about it many times. Chris Ogle Erotas - To those of you that are so thoughtfully conveying prayers and messages, Thank you for your friendship and love towards Cheryl and or our family. I know Cheryl cherished the time spent with you Joanne and thank you so very much for your visits and love that you extended. Pat, you were always so sweet, just like your mother. Cheryl always enjoyed you. Again, thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
