Parker City - Parker City – Margaret E. Waters, 62, went to be with her Savior Monday, June 14, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born in Muncie May 2, 1948 the daughter of Virgil L and Margaret E (Snodgrass) Brown, and graduated from Cowan High School in 1966.

Margaret had worked in retail at Elder Beerman for almost 17 years. She was a member of McCormick View Chapel and Westside United Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 42 Years, Patrick Waters, Jr., Parker City; her daughter, Rhonda Waters, Anderson; son, Daniel Waters, (wife, Julie), Muncie; daughter, Patty Patty, (husband, Chris), Muncie; ten grandchildren, Kayla, Kristen, Michael, Ashley, Aaron, Kassidy, Joshua, Kelsi, Gracie, and Eva; her mother, Eileen Brown, Muncie; a sister, Janice Garner, Muncie; two brothers, George Smith, Scottsdale, Arizona and Steve Brown, (wife, Sarah), Muncie; several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Brown, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2010 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Larry Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie.

Family will receive friends Thursday, June 17, 2010 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.

The family of Margaret Waters would like to thank the oncology staff and the ICU staff at Ball Memorial Hospital as well as all their friends and family for all their prayers, love and support.

She was a remarkable woman and she will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
