Muncie - Muncie – Mildred M. Springman, 97, went to be with the Lord Thursday morning, June 17, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born October 5, 1912 in Winchester the daughter of Clifford and Ester (McCamey) Lambert and moved to Muncie as a child.

Mrs. Springman was a member of Full Gospel Temple.

Surviving are three children, Jim Springman (wife, Estelle), Muncie, Mary McKim (husband, Jim), Modoc, and Ray Springman, Muncie; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bill Lambert, Windsor, Bob Lambert (wife, Barbara), Muncie, and Howard Lambert, Muncie; two sisters, Betty Sewell, Albany and Mary Jane Hastings (husband, Gerald), Seymour; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Springman in 1958; a son, John Springman; a granddaughter, Judy Peterson; a great-granddaughter; six brothers, Charles, Don, Roger, Paul “Butch”, Leroy, and Dutch Lambert; and two sisters, Dorothy and Thelma Jean Lambert.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 21, 2010, in The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday or one hour prior to services on Monday.
