Muncie - Muncie—Clinton C. Longshore, 82, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Westminster Health Care, where he was a resident.

Clint was born April 28, 1928 in Plainfield, NJ, the son of the late Horace R. and Mildred G. (Groff) Longshore. He graduated from Scotia, NY High School in 1945 and the University of Illinois in 1950. Clint served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and then was a high school teacher in Illinois and Newport, WA until his retirement in 1984.

Clint is survived by his brother, Allen Longshore (wife, Betty); and two nieces, Hazel Goodman (husband, Chris), and Cathy Condon (husband, Jim).

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Per Clint’s request, there will be no services or calling. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
