Muncie - Muncie- Oliver Wade Sallee Jr., 50, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010, at his residence, with his family by his side.

Oliver was born June 9, 1960, in Muncie, the son of Oliver Wade Sallee Sr. and Anna Marie Sallee.

Oliver was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany where he met and married his wife, Karin Ella (Eisele) Sallee on September 21, 1984.

He owned and Operated A.M. Sallee and Sons Trucking Company. Oliver was a member of the Dunkirk American Legion Post 227 and the Crown City Cruisers Car Club.

Survivors include his wife, Karin Sallee, Dunkirk; his daughter, Sabrina Sallee, Dunkirk; his son, Oliver Wade Sallee III, Dunkirk; mother, Anna Marie Sallee, Redkey; two sisters, Belva Leist (husband-Terry), Dunkirk, and Oona Goforth (husband-Terry), Farmland; two brothers, Clarence Sallee (wife-Monica), Ossian, and William Sallee, Muncie; nephew, Ryan Reeder, Ossian; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Teresa Sallee and a sister-in-law, Michele Sallee.

Services will be held 4:00 p.m., Monday, July 12, 2010 at the The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. It was Oliver’s choice to be cremated.

Family and friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday.

Memorials contributions may be directed to the family.

Sue Sallee (Gaither)/ The Sallee Family - Belva and family, i was so sorry to hear about Wade's death. I do not take a paper and did not see or hear about it until came to work this morning. Since I'm working I can not come to the funeral, I know I did not know him but I still want you all to know that you are in my prayers and hope that God is with you. Jessika Hoffman - I LOVE you Uncle Wade! I know that you are safe and free from all of the pain that you were feeling...Aunt Karin, Sabrina, and Wade...I am here for you if you need anything.
