John & Jane Beekman - We extend our sympathy to you on the death of Barbara. Barbara and Gordon were good friends of ours starting in 1971 when they came to Muncie. We did many activities together, including ice skating, cross-country skiing, golfing, travelling to northern Indiana, and Oregon. We had much to visit about, including singing in our church choirs, and our activities at Ball State University. A Memorial has been sent to Meals on Wheels. We are very sorry that we can't attend the Memorial services on July 31, as we will be travelling to Iowa. In Christian Love, John and Jane Beekman

Truman Pope Family - Dear Sleeper Familly: I was sorry to read of the death of your mother. Regardless of her age, losing one's mother is a difficult thing to experience. I welcomed Gordon and Barbara to Muncie in early 197l. I associated with her at a number of office parties. I worked with Gordon for about twenty years. He was a great asset to Ball State. Sincerely, Truman Pope
